TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
